Make This a Summer of Hope

Summer is the worst time to be homeless in Houston. Imagine walking blocks just for a drink of water for your children… sleeping in a hot car…seeking shelter in a smoggy overpass. Day-to-day survival needs grow more difficult as temperatures climb. You can team up with Star of Hope to provide food, water, toiletries, cool shelter and other vital services to those in our shelters and on the streets. This issue is precisely why I put myself on an automatic deduction program rather than hit-or-miss donations whenever I remember! The need is constant, and I felt I needed to make my contributions regular to help meet the need. I hope others will, too.
